St Sebastian’s Primary School is proud to announce upcoming aesthetic upgrades and enhancements to our existing infrastructure facilities, commencing with the Early Learning and Outside School Hours Care (OSHC) spaces, reinforcing our commitment to providing high-quality, future-focused learning environments.
The enhancements will focus on creating more contemporary, comfortable and sustainable spaces that support the wellbeing and development of our youngest learners. These improvements reflect our long-term vision for educational excellence and environmental responsibility.
Principal Angela Moore shared her excitement about the initiative,
“We know that the spaces where children learn and play have a profound impact on their growth and engagement. These upgrades are about creating environments that inspire curiosity, creativity and care.”
St Sebastian’s OSHC, a valued part of the school and parish community, offers a vibrant program that includes gardening, painting, sport, cooking and more. The service is known for its close-knit atmosphere and collaborative approach to learning, guided by the My Time, Our Place framework.
Importantly, the school has assured families that there will be no disruption to teaching and learning during the construction period.
“The safety and wellbeing of our students, staff and families will always be our highest priority,” Ms Moore said.
“We’ve worked closely with our construction partners to ensure the upgrades are managed smoothly and with minimal impact.”
Regular updates will be provided as work progresses, including any temporary room changes or exclusion zones.
“This is an exciting chapter for our school,” Ms Moore said.
“We’re building spaces that reflect our values and support the kind of learning that prepares students to make a difference in the world.”
Stay tuned for more updates as we build brighter beginnings at St Sebastian’s!
