Fees and Levies Explained

  • School fee accounts - sent via email to each account holder usually in the first 2 weeks of term. Fees are due in full 2 weeks after this date. Payments can be made via direct debit (preferred), BPoint and cash. Families are welcome to pay for the full year upfront.
  • Tuition Fees - To assist with the central administration of Brisbane Catholic Education there is an Archdiocesan Education Levy (AEL) which is a charge on schools based on the number of families.  This levy is paid from your tuition fees.
  • Prep / Year 1 Levy - supports our child centred, play based approach to early childhood learning by providing additional resources and staffing.
  • Capital Levy - a compulsory levy that helps us meet our building loan commitments.
  • Technology Levy - supports 1:1 device for every student and ongoing upgrade and maintenance of ICT infrastructure school wide.
  • Library Fund - is fully tax deductible donation to support the purchase of new resources for the library. A tax statement will be issued each July for the previous financial year.
  • Camp - It is expected as part of the curriculum that all students in Years 4, 5 & 6will attend camp. Fees will be charged usually over 2 terms or more.
