Sport
At St Sebastian’s, sport is about building confidence, teamwork and a love of being active.
Our program is designed to give every child the opportunity to develop a broad range of skills across different sports and activities. From running and kicking to catching, throwing and striking, we focus on the foundations that support participation in many sports as children grow.
Most importantly, we want every student to feel included, capable and willing to give things a go—whether they’re trying a sport for the first time or building on existing skills.
All sport programs are included within the school levy, making participation easy for families.
Swimming
In Term 1, all students from Prep to Year 6 take part in our swimming program.
Swimming focuses on essential water safety and survival skills, alongside learning and refining stroke techniques. As students progress through the years, they build confidence in the water while continuing to improve their skills.
Lessons are delivered by qualified instructors and all costs are covered within the school levy.
