P&F News

My thanks to all who were in attendance at Tuesday night’s P&F meeting both in person and via Teams online.

The meeting commenced with a very worthwhile presentation by our Primary Learning Leader, addressing preparations for NAPLAN online testing that will occur between 11- 21 May for our Years 3 & 5 students.

This was followed by discussion about many matters including some very exciting social activities being organised by our P&F. Following a very quiet 2020, due to the pandemic, these events will create wonderful opportunities for us to reconnect as a school community. The Paint and Pour evening is scheduled for Saturday 15 May and will be held in the Undercroft at school. These evenings are great fun and require minimal talent to create a masterpiece and share lots of laugh with both old and new friends.

Later in the term, Saturday 5 June, all parents are invited to attend a Pizza and Trivia evening, again in the Undercroft. More details to come in the coming weeks.

The P&F’s grandest plans are for a Family Fun Event in September based on a theme of “Around the World in One Day”. This event is for the whole family and will be fun for all ages. In the near future, I expect you will be hearing from your class coordinators on how you can get involved. I strongly encourage all to get involved to ensure the success of this event.
