Containers for Change

It is with great excitement that I share the news about our Containers for Change competition. As you know, the P&F have engaged xChange Container Recycling within the school. Through this, the Year 5/6 leaders were asked to create a bin design for our relevant bottles, to avoid them ending up in landfill. This competition was run with other organisations participating in the program. We are very excited that St Sebastian's has taken first prize in this competition. We will now be the proud owners of a Heebie Jeebies Marscope Dobsonian Telescope – valued at $418. While we still have a few finishing
touches to add to ensure the bin is usable we look forward to having this located around the school to assist in our collections. Please remember to bring along your 10c cans/bottles/poppers to school to help donate to our P&F. Alternatively you can drop your bottles off at 78 Andrew Street Rocklea and use Our Scheme ID C10210383.

Congratulations to all Year 5 and 6 students for engaging in this opportunity and Momo whose design we used for our bin .
